Washing & Conditioning with Care
To keep your human hair wig or topper fresh and free of buildup, we recommend washing it every 6 to 10 wears.
Before beginning, gently brush through the hair with the brush we provided at your appointment. Move slowly and kindly—your piece deserves a soft touch.
- Rinse: Hold the hair under cool running water, allowing the water to flow in one direction—from top to ends.
- Shampoo: Apply the recommended shampoo and glide it downward through the hair. Avoid rubbing or bunching the hair, which can cause tangles.
- Rinse again: Use cool water to remove all shampoo.
- Condition: Apply your recommended conditioner from mid-length to ends, keeping it away from the base to protect the delicate hand-tied knots.
- Set & rinse: Allow the conditioner to rest for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cool water until the hair feels silky and clean.
